Psychology 132

This is an introductory course to psychology.

This class serves as a wide-ranging introduction to the field of Psychology. Psychology is
broadly the scientific study and understanding of behavior and cognition, but takes many
forms across many sub-disciplines. Some of the main goals of this class are to give you an
understanding, history, and detail of these different areas in psychology, how psychological
research works, and what research in these areas has informed us about the human
experience..

You must have access to the book everyday in class.  This  can be online or a physical copy but you need the text.

I expect you to be in class everyday and to be actively involved by asking and answering questions.

Please pre-read each chapter before we study it. Write down any questions you may have in your notebook so we can clarify them during class.

Attendance points as well as participation points will be given everyday.  If you are absent with an excused absence you may make up the participation points.  Daily questions will be available.

On this site you will find the Powerpoints, from the daily lectures as well as additional readings and videos.
